Allbut, Phyllis “Jiggs” (24th September 1942-Present)

Born in New Jersey she was a founder of The Angels whose major hit was “My Boyfriend’s Back”. They had previously been known as The Blue Angels and The Starlets.

As a member of The Angels she backed stars including Neil Diamond , Jackie Wilson, Frankie Valli, Frank Sinatra and on the No.1 Lou Christie hit “Lightnin’ Strikes”.

In the late 1960s she went into modeling and sang in commercials. She still performs with The Angels occasionally today.
