Allen, Jeff (23rd April 1946-Present)

He is a drummer born Jeffrey Allen in Matlock, Derbyshire who performed as a member of The Beatstalkers during the 1960s.

In the late 1960s/early 1970s he appeared in the band East of Eden, where a co-member was Geoff Britton who would join Wings .

In 1976 he spent a brief time on a session recording with the Scottish band Blue as a percussionist and drummer as replacement for Timi Donald .

During the 1980s he worked as a session musician and appeared on recordings by artists such as Murray Head, John Martyn, Bonny Tyler and Snowy White.  He carried on working with Snowy White in the 1990s when he teamed with him and Mick Taylor for a live album in 1995.

In the 2000s he performed with Ilham al-Madfai, Mick Taylor and Max Middleton and also became the Sensible Music, London executive producer of music concerts.
