Bailey, Robert (1950-Present)

Keyboardist who was born in England, moved to Guyana when he was 4 years old and then after he was 10 he spent much of his time in Trinidad as well as attending Highgate School in London for 3 years.

He became a member of the band Osibisa after it was formed in London in 1969 and recorded several hit songs such a “Woyoya” with them, appeareing on several tours before leaving in 1974. The following year he performed on the hit records “Fool” by Al Matthews and “Tears on My Pillow” by Johnny Nash.

He returned to Osibisa to work on the 2021 album New Dawn.
