She is a soprano singer and teacher, now known as Debbie Banashek-Twist who studied English at the universities of Miami and Missouri. She teaches English at Parkway North High School, Saint Louis, and has sung with the Saint Louis Chamber Chorus , with whom she has appeared on several recordings.
