Cellist, concertmaster, conductor, violinist and vocalist who found a niche for himself as a music contractor for such variegated artists as Benny Carter, Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, Marvin Gaye, Leslie Gore, Dean Martin, Peaches and Herb, The Platters, and Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention.
As a musician, he recorded with Benny Carter, Bing Crosby, Neil Diamond , Burt Ward (yes, the Burt Ward of Batman fame) and Frank Zappa. He was also the orchestra master on those lush arrangements on Beach Boys Ultimate Christmas.
