He is a cellist who has been a member of the Gelders Orkest and the Netherlands Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has also played in a duo with pianist, Reynoud Maartense and in 2016 performed a concert of Bach Cello Suites at Bathmen.
He has appeared on albums that include Time of My Life by Patricia Paay and Westbroek by Henk Westbroek.
In the field of musical education he teaches at home and abroad and authored the article, “Christian Symbolism in the First Three Preludes of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Six Suites for Cello Solo”.
