She is a musician born in Cologne, Germany, who studied piano and recorder there. She later moved to Berlin and Frankfurt to study the harpsichord.
Also performing on the flute, she has been a member of the ensembles La Stagione Frankfurt, Musica Antiqua Koln and Camerata Koln and has appeared in performances at many of the major European and American concert venues.
As a teacher she has been on the faculties of the Frankfurt Hochschule fur Musik and Darmstadt’s Akademie fur Tonskunst.
