Beard, Heather (1968-4th June 2004)

She was an alto/soprano singer also known as Heather Beard Blalock , who based herself in the Atlanta area.

Appearing with several ensembles she sang on stage and in the studio with the Robert Shaw Chamber Singers and was a member of the Atlanta Singers that were established in 1976 by the conductor Kevin Culver and the soprano Cheryl Bray after having been inspired by Robert Shaw .

Albums she appeared on during the course of her career included An American Sampler by the Atlanta Singers and Songs of Angels: Christmas Hymns and Carols by the Robert Shaw Chamber Singers.

She sadly passed away in 2004, when she was only 35,  suffering from Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
