Boyce, Paul

He is a bass/baritone born in Minnesota who studied at St. Olaf College and the University of Minnesota.

He travelled east in 1986 and began working for various ensembles in Philadelphia and New York.  Since that time he has sung as a member of The Philadelphia Singers and appeared on their 1987 holiday recording Gloria! Gloria! along with Benita Valente and the Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. He has also been a member of New York’s Ensemble for Early Music, making several tours with them.

He relocated to San Francisco, California and in 2003 became a member of the Philharmonia Chorale, which often accompanies the Philharmonia Baroque Ensemble, and more recently he has performed with the Artists’ Vocal Ensemble (AVE).
