He is a fiddle player that has studied with many acclaimed fiddlers from the United States such as Kevin Crehan and Joe Ryan and in the Willie Clancy Summer School in Ireland.
A frequent traveller to Ireland he has often competed in the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil and back in the United States he is a member of the group Silver Arm (aka Silver Arm Celtic Band).
In the field of musical education he has taught at the Riley School of Irish Music in Cincinnati and the University of Cincinnati’s Communiversity.
