Buffett, Savannah Jane (1st June 1979-Present)

She is a conga player, backing singer author and radio personality who is the daughter of the country/folk singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett .

When she was just eleven years old she co-authored the book The Jolly Mon with her father and followed it three years later with Trouble Dolls. Venturing into the recording studio with her father and his Coral Reefer Band she played the mini congas and percussion on his albums Floridays, Feeding Frenzy and Boats, Beaches Bars & Ballads and using her skill as a photographer has also produced photographs that were used on some of his album covers.

She appeared as a backing vocalist with her father at a concert in Tweeter Center Boston in Mansfield, Massachusetts and in the movies she was the musical supervisor for the 2006 film Hoot.

Now a radio presenter, she can be heard on her Savannah Daydreamin’ which is broadcast on Radio Margaritaville.
