Buren, Gene van

He is a singer-songwriter, pianist and producer also known as Gene van Burne who was given a contract by Tamla Motown in 1982 and in December of that year released his debut album What’s Your Pleasure on which he wrote all the tracks.  He later released the single “You Excite Me” in 1984 but the album Love Never Dies, which would have been his second full-length recording never came to be.

Becoming a session singer after this he has been heard working with many artists such as Bustafunk, Cerrone, Boney James and Stacey Q. Albums he can be found on include Floridays by Jimmy Buffett, Anthology by Donna Summer and the soundtrack of the Addams Family.

In 2014 he released his album Still.
