Camp, Shellie

Soprano who studied for her B.A. at Swarthmore College and went on to the Eastman School of Music to attain her M.M. in Performance and Literature.

She became a member of The Philadelphia Singers in 1979 and appeared on their 1987 album, Gloria!  Gloria!.  Shellie Camp is credited with the following stage roles:  Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore; Lady Thiang in The King and I; and, Princess Zara in Utopia Limited.  She has also been a member of Musica Sacra of New Jersey, the Philadelphia Vocal Quartet, Pennsylvania Pro Musica and the Opera Company of Philadelphia Chorus.

She has also worked as an aerobic dance instructor.

Her daughter Rachel is a theatre actress.
