Catallo, Chet (11th March 1953-Present)

Guitarist, producer and songwriter from Rochester, New York, who was an early member of Spyro Gyra and appeared on their first seven albums. He also penned a handful of their hits, including “Café Amore”, “It Doesn’t Matter”, and “Lovin’ You”.

In the 1980s, he left the band and started his own outfit called Chet Catallo and The Cats. They are best known for playing live shows but released their first album First Take in 2010.
