Chin, Yan

Violinist who is second violin for the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia who were previously known as the Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia.

Yan Chin has given many performances with the Chamber Orchestra in productions such as Handel’s Messiah, which was out on by Drexel University’s Department of the Performing Arts in 2004.  Yan has also performed with them at the International Trumpet Guild Conference at Rowan University in 2006 and as one of The Colonial Players with other members of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia in a concert called A Colonial Holiday put on at the city’s Kimmel Center.

Here is a performance of Mozart’s Domine Jesu  from his Requiem by Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, the Singing City Choir and the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church Senior Choir…
