Concepcion, Tony

He is a horn player, arranger and composer mainly known for his countless trumpet performances with popular artists from the 1980s onwards.

His compositions include “After the Siesta” which was used in the 1999 television movie Feliz Christmas, Merry Navidad.

A prolific session musician, a small portion of the artists and groups he has performed with include Christina Aguilera, David Byrne, Ed Calle , the Coral Reefer band, Celia Cruz, Vic Damone, Placido Domingo , Julio Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez, Miami Sound Machine, Pet Shop Boys, Jon Secada, Shakira and Will to Power.

Albums that his performances can be heard on are far too many to mention but some of them are Floridays by Jimmy Buffett , Crosby, Stills & Nash Box Set by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Destiny by Gloria Estefan, Senor Bolero by Jose Feliciano, It’s All in the Game by Engelbert Humperdinck, Aida by Elton John & Tim Rice , Get Down Live! by KC & The Sunshine Band, Living la Vida Loca by Ricky Martin, Right By You by Stephen Stills and the soundtrack of Ringmaster.

In more recent years he has worked as a member of the creative team for the Florida based Latin music company Nuetro Rimo Inc.
