Cooledge, Dr. John W.

He is a bass singer and retired paediatrician who has been a charter member of the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra & Chorus since 1969 and when Robert Shaw established the chorus. He has also worked with the Atlanta Singers and as a member of his Robert Shaw Chamber Singers .

He has appeared on many recordings during his career that include Ein Duetsches Requiem by Robert Spano and the Atlanta Symphony & Chorus and Songs of Angels: Christmas Hymns and Carols by the Robert Shaw Chamber Singers .

Also involved in music reviews he was on the staff member of the Absolute Sound magazine for many years before retiring and also been a guest at events by the Atlanta Audio Society
