Cooper, Christopher (1967-Present)

He is a French horn player, often called Chris, born in California and growing up in Rockport, Massachusetts.  He studied at Boston University before attending the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

He became a member of Canadian Brass in 1998 and stayed with them until 2001 to spend more time with his wife. He joined the San Francisco Symphony in 2002 as Acting Assistant Principal Horn/Utility Horn and remained with them until 2008.   His wife is the violist Gina Feinauer, has performed with the San Francisco Symphony since 1992.

He went on to work as a session musician in Hollywood and in the field of musical education he has been a teacher at UCLA, California.
