Cutler-Fetkewicz, Alexandra (1975/6-Present)

She is a violinist, composer, arranger and private teacher who took hur further studies in music at the Eastman School of Music where she received her bachelors and masters degrees in 1999 and 2002 respectively.

As a soloist and chamber musician she has worked with many major conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Pierre Boulez, Christoph von Dohnanyi, John Williams and Pinchas Zukerman among others.

She has given performances all over the world with ensembles that include the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, who awarded her a Gottleib Scholarship, the Albany Symphony Orchestra, the Binghamton Philharmonic, The Eastman Philharmonia, the Orchestra of the Pennsylvania Ballet and the Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia.  She has also regularly taken part in music festivals in Italy, Germany and the Dominican Republic.

Making several recordings during her career to date, she can be heard on This Euphoria by David Garza and the Samuel Adler Orchestration Book.  She has also worked as a band member with Antonio Sage, been the second violin on tour with Branford Marsalis, improvised in concert with Elvis Costello and gave a critically acclaimed solo performance under the conductorship of John Williams in a concert of his film scores.

In musical education she has given private violin lessons to students that include members of the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra.  She is a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Philly Music Lab.
