She is a violist and teacher who went to high school in Plainview, New York and received her BM in Performance-Viol.
She has received several awards for music including the Clare Bartels Memorial Award and the Adele Lerner Prize in Chamber Music and in musical education she has been on the faculty of the Oceanside High School music department, the Robert Seaman Elementary School and the Jericho School District orchestral/music department.
She has also performed as a violist with the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra led by Rick Benjamin .
