Bassoonist who has worked with the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic, the Netherlands Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Vivaio Ensemble.

On 21st December 2002, the Netherlands Radio Symphony Orchestra and Groot Omroepkoor rang in the holidays with Roel van Oosten’s “Quatre Noels Anciens”, Arvo Part’s “Cantus in memory of Benjamin Britten”, Alexandre Tansman’s oratorio, Isaie, le Prophete, and Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Fantasia on Christmas Carols”.

The Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic and Groot Omroepvrouwenkoor offered up Girolamo Abos’s Stabat Mater, Franz Joseph Haydn’s “Symfonie nr. 83 in g” (“La Poule”), and Jean-Philippe Rameau’s “Suite uit Nais” on 5th October 2007.

On 10th November 2007, the Kamerkoor Capricciata and Vivaio Ensemble filled the Wilhelminakerk in Bussum with the strains of Michael Haydn’s Missa Sancti Hieronymi MH 254.

The Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic collaborated with Pieter Wispelwey on Franz Joseph Haydn’s “Celloconcert in D, Hob.VIIb:2” on an evening that also included the master’s 82nd and 85th symphonies and Jacques Offenbach’s “Ouverture La fille du tambour-major”.

On 21st December 2007, the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic and Groot Omroepkoor honoured the Advent with Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Orkestsuite nr. 3 in D BWV 1068”, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Mis in c, KV 427, and Francis Poulenc’s “Quatre motets pour le temps de Noel”.

The Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic performed Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Symfonie no. 8 in F op. 93”, Claude Debussy’s “Children’s Corner”, Antonin Dvorak’s “Romance voor viool en orkest op. 11” with soloist Isabelle van Keulen, and Bohuslav Martinu’s “Dubbelconcert voor piano, slag-werk en strijkers, H. 271” with Keulen and pianist Catherine Edwards.

On 20th December 2008, the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic reprised Bach’s “Derdeorkestsuite in D BWV 1068” and followed it up with Joonas Kokkonen’s “…durch einen Spiegel…”, Mozart’s “Pianoconcert nr. 24 KV 491”, and Olli Mustonen’s “Tripelconcert voor drieviolen en orkest” with violinists Pekka Kuusisto, Elisabeth Perry, and Candida Thompson.

The Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic teamed up with Ronald Brautigam for Beethoven’s “Pianoconcert nr. 4 in G opus 58” and oboist Ernest Rombout for Wim Laman’s “Canti d’Orfeo” in a program that also included Franz Liszt’s Orpheus and Christoph Willibald von Gluck’s ballet suite from Orphee et Eurydice.

On Valentine’s Day 2009, the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic, in tandem with pianist David Fray, interpreted Bach’s “Klavierconcert in g, BWV 1058” and Robert Schumann’s “Fugauber den Namen Bach, op. 60 nr. 6”, sandwiched between Igor Stravinsky’s “Concerto in D” and Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 2 in D, op. 36”.

The Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic and members of Groot Omroepkoor reunited on 28th February 2009 for Bach’s Magnificat in D BWV 243 and “Sinfonia uit Cantate Am Abend aberdesselbigen Sabbats BWV 42”, Luigi Dallapiccola’s “Canti di prigionia”, and Jan Vriend’s “Bachanalia… mit Tranen…”

On 18th April 2009, the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic joined forces with RascherSaxofoonkwartet for Peter-Jan Wagemans’ “Concertino voor saxofoonkwartet en klein orkest” and surrounded it with Bach’s “Sinfonia uit Kommt, eilet und laufet BWV 249”, Arthur Honegger’s “Tweede symfonie”, and Maurice Ravel’s “Le tombeau de Couperin”.
