Drennan, Anthony (1964-Present)

He is a guitarist born in Luton, England, whose family reelocated to Dublin, Ireland, when he was a child.  His father was a jazz pianist and his two brothers were famous jazz players in their own right.

He appeared with the band Genesis replacing Daryl Stuermer as a touring second guitarist and bassist in concerts during 1997 and 1998.  From 1999 he was the lead guitarist for The Corrs and eleven years later he became a member of Mike + The Mechanics.

During the course of his career he has also played with Paul Brady, Clannad, Gabrielle, the Liffey Light Orchestra, Moving Hearts, Chris Rea, Davy Spillane, Terence Trent D’Arby and Will Young among many others.
