Ehrenwerth, Julius

Cellist who performed with Gene Krupa back in the day on Gene Krupa Swings with Strings and the jazz anthology, V-Disc Parties.  In 1964 he recorded the album Your’s Truly, Jack and Julie with the harpist Jack Melady.

He went on to record on the soundtrack of 1978’s The Wiz and Frank Sinatra’s 1979 boxed set, Trilogy, and has also recorded with Frank Sinatra, Jr.  In 1987, he provided string support on the compilation, The Sensual Sound of the Soulful Oboe.

Woody Allen fans made have heard him on the soundtrack of his 1997 movie musical, Everyone Says I Love You.
