He is a violist who graduated from the Frederick Chopin National Music School in Bedzin, Poland in 1960-1.
He became a member of the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra during the early 1960s and he and three other string members of the orchestra founded the Wratislavia Quartet in 1966. The ensemble was extremely active and performed in concert in several European countries and at various music festivals before disbanding in 1984.
More recently he has performed the viola as a member of the Netherlands Radio Symphony Orchestra.
