Ferdinandusse, Ingrid

She is a vocalist who was initially taken on as a member of the Starsound project, which presented “Stars on 45 proudly presents The Star Sisters” singing medleys as that where they impersonated the Andrews Sisters.  She did not join until she became the replacement for Sylvana van Heen who was an original member and it has been written than she didn’t actually initially sing.

She was a member of The Star Sisters from 1985 when they released the album Danger and singles such as “Just Another Night (In New York City)”, “The Duke of Dance” and  “He’s The 1 (I Love)”.  They changed their genre later when they also released the medley “Bad Girls” which covered popular songs of the time such as “You Don’t Have To Take Your Clothes Off”.

They went their separate ways in 1987 and then reunited again 2007 when their “Stars on 45” medley was re-released and they appeared on the Dutch version of Dancing With the Stars.

Here are the Star Sisters performing in 2007….
