She is an alto singer who studied at Columbus State University’s Schwab School of Music.
She became a singer with the Robert Shaw Chamber Singers in Atlanta and appeared on at least one of their recordings, the 1994 Songs of Angels: Christmas Hymns & Carols. She is also known by her married name, Delane Cope, and works in Atlanta.
