Foreman, Chris (8th August 1956-Present)

He is a guitarist born Christopher John Foreman in St. Pancras, London, England and nicknamed Chrissy Boy.  His father who was a music hall revivalist originally tried to get him interested in playing the guitar as a child but it wasn’t until he was seventeen that he went and bought a second-hand one himself.

In 1976 he founded the band The Invaders with Mike Barson and Lee Thompson and after being joined by further members including Suggs and Chas Smash they became Morris and the Minors which evolved into the successful group Madness .  They disbanded in 1986 and several members of the group formed The Madness which broke up after one album.  Another band, Crunch! was put together with Lee Thompson on vocals.

The original members of Madness reformed in 1992 and resumed a recording and touring schedule.  He announced that he was leaving the band in 2005 but this was not the case as he joined them for their Christmas Tour.   From 2006 he performed using an Axecam which is an attachment he made from his mobile phone to video stage performances.  He also uses it for a series of short videos where he meets celebrities that have been in the group’s company at various functions.
