Goh, Rex (5th May 1951-Present)

He was born in Singapore and moved to Australia in 1972.  In 1980 he gained a diploma in Jazz Studies from the New South Wales Conservatium of Music and joined the band Air Supply as a guitarist in 1980, staying with them until 1988.

He went on to work with numerous artists and on many film and TV themes including The Coca-Cola Kid and The Crossing .

He has toured and recorded with Savage Garden and many other Australian artists.  He has also worked with international artists such as Randy Crawford, Tom Jones and Guy Sebastian.  He also worked with The Brothers of Oz and was in the Australian Idol TV show’s house band from 2003 to 2009.

Here he is playing guitar in a blues group playing “Woman Across the River”…
