Groesz, Wouter

Concertmaster of the Wilhelmina Consort and violinist with the Bon Air Ensemble, the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic, and the Netherlands Radio Symphony Orchestra.

On 4th May 2004, he was the orchestra leader in a performance of Gabriel Faure’s Requiem at the Wilhelminakerk Bussum, directed by Pim Philipse.  Highlights from 2010 included the cantatas, Hallelujah, What a Savior by John W. Peterson, and Gott soll allein mein Herzehaben, BWV 169, by Johann Sebastian Bach.  Wouter also conducts and plays the accordion.

During the course of his career he has appeared on several recordings with some these being Westbroek and Vrij by Henk Westbroek, Noorderzon and Onvoorspelbaar by De Kast and The Road Ahead by City to City among others.
