Guittar, Forrest

He is a tenor, minister and director of music brought up in Florissant, Missouri, who studied at the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Conservatory of Music.

His career of more than thirty years has seen him directing and being the minister to several congregations in Atlanta, Denver and Kansas City.  Eighteen years were spent studying with Robert Shaw, performing  and recording at least 30 albums with the Atlanta Symphony Chorus, the Chamber Chorus and the Robert Shaw Chamber Singers.  After the death of Robert Shaw he continued with the Robert Shaw Tribute Singers.

He has also been the Conductor of the Atlanta Master Chorale, the Artistic Director of Music Atlanta, the Conductor of Cherry Creek’s Festival of Sacred Arts and the Director of the Festival of Faith and the Arts.  Since relocating to Denver, Colorado, he has performed with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
