Harriss, Don

Composer, keyboardist and producer who has put several albums into the top ten on the Adult Alternative, New Adult Contemporary, and Progressive Adult Contemporary charts.  These include Abacus Moon, Elevations, Mysterium, Shell Game, and Vanishing Point.  In 2000, he released an album of solo piano music, entitled Hero’s Welcome.

Armed with his trusty Macintosh, grand piano, and synthesizers, he writes music that incorporates a wide variety of musical experiences, such as classical, psychedelia, and rock.  His compositions comprise “Abacus Moon”, “Arabesque”, “Blue Dancer”, “Sea of Storms”, “Southern Lights”, and “When Statues Dance”.

Outwith his solo efforts, he played keyboards on Camel’s Dust and Dreams, was a member of Stevan Pasero’s New Chamber Ensemble, and appeared on the compilation, Cruisers 1.0.
