He is trumpeter, band director and teacher who has performed and taught in and around Saint Louis, Missouri. He has been an instrumentalist at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis and performed with them at their annual Christmas concerts and appears on their holiday recording Christmas at the Cathedral.
He has been a member of the Bach Society of Saint Louis along with many other accomplished local musicians such as Susan Slaughter and Tod Bowermaster and in December 2008 was a member of the Magnificat Orchestra in a local choral and masterworks concert.
In the field of musical education he has held a position on the faculty of the Saint Katharine Drexel School in Saint Louis, has been a band director at Our Lady of Sorrows School and a program director at Holy Cross Academy.
