Hemming, Craig

He is a bass player and singer born in Canada who was a founder member of the band Edward Bear which formed in 1966 and had success with their hits “You, Me and Mexico”, “Last Song” and “Close Your Eyes”.  He was known for always wearing a trademark corduroy cap and dropped out of the band in 1969.

He studied at  Ryerson University and chose to follow advertising as his career alongside jingle writing.  This led him to meeting Diane Carter and they went into collaboration under the name Carter Craig as writers and producers of theatrical and corporate shows.

They first saw success in dinner and soft seat theatrical venues with their musical fantasy Elvis Loves Patsy and followed it with the romantic comedy Asperger’s…The Musical.  Their next writing project was The Dominatrix Next Door in 2014.
