He is a prolific violinist who has leant his talent to many artists and groups over the last four decades.
His recording career began in the late 1960s and continued through to the present day and he has appeared with a plethora of groups and artists that include Cannonball Adderley, Dorothy Ashby, Boyz II Men, Sonny Criss, Neil Diamond, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Emotions, The Gap Band, Gary Glenn, Hubert Laws, Lionel Richie, Pharoah Sanders and The Whispers among others.
Just a few of the numerous albums he has featured on include Reflection on Creation and Space by Alice Coltrane, Hot August Night and In My Lifetime by Neil Diamond, I Am and Faces by Earth, Wind & Fire, Ballad Collection by Boyz II Men, Prayer Before Dawn by Pharoah Sanders, Sunbeam by The Emotions, The Gap Band, GG by Garry Glenn, Moments Like This by Bobby Short, Fantastic Voyage by Lakeside and New Earth Sonata by Hubert Laws.
Working in music for movies he can be heard on the soundtrack of Love At First Bite and The Color Purple.
