She is an alto singer born in Pittsburgh and who was a member of the University Circle Choral in Cleveland, She has been a member of the Saint Louis Chamber Chorus as well as serving as a librarian for them. Throughout these years she has appeared in many of their concerts and also features on their CDs such as A Spanish Christmas and Songs of the Soul.
She has also been a singer with Collegium Musicale of St. Louis and a member of the vocal octet Java Jived who perform a cappella versions of classic 20th century pop and jazz songs.
