Leo, Josh (1953-Present)

He is a songwriter, guitarist and producer who has worked in the studio and toured with many groups and artists over the years.

These include Alabama, Bad Company, M.L. Benoit, Jimmy Buffett, who he recorded and toured with from 1981-1986 as a member of his Coral Reefer Band, Kim Carnes, Glenn Frey, Crystal Gayle, Brenda Lee, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Reba McEntire, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Bonny Raitt, LeAnn Rimes, Timothy B. Schmit and J.D. Souther.

As a recording artist he has played on over 150 releases, as a songwriter he has achieved six No. 1 hit singles and as a producer he has worked on 21 chart topping albums.  All of this has led him to becoming a 6-time BMI Millionaire Award winner.  Today he is a member of the group The Vinyl Kings with musicians that include his co-member of the Coral Reefer Band, Larry Lee.

Albums he can be heard on include his own Rockin’ on 6th which was released in 1983 and also Southern Star, American Pride and Cheap Seats by Alabama, Coconut Telegraph, Somewhere Over China, One Particular Harbour, Last Mango in Paris, Floridays and Boats, Beaches, Bars & Ballads by Jimmy Buffett, Mistaken Identity and Voyeur by Kim Carnes, Countrified by Emerson Drive and No Fun Aloud and Allnighter by Glenn Frey.
