Session vocalist who was a part of Judy Garland’s landmark, week-long run at the Metropolitan Opera in May of 1959 and shares the distinction with Peggy March of being one of the last guests on Perry Como’s television program, on 12th June 1963.
She has appeared on a number of albums, including Frank Sinatra’s Trilogy, Judy Collins’ Running For My Life, and Snowfall: The Tony Bennett Christmas Album.
In 1995, she appeared as a member of the chorus in the Woody Allen comedy Mighty Aphrodite.
Leonard Bernstein employed her vocal talents on his Mass and Leonard Bernstein Conducts West Side Story, an operatic rendering of West Side Story, featuring Jose Carreras.
