Pop, Edina (4th February 1941-Present)

She was born Marika Kesmarki in Budapest, Hungary, who, as a star in Hungary released songs such as “Psych Beat”.  She was married in February 1971 to Gunter Stoll but this ended in January 1977.

In 1979 she became a member of the successful German group Dschinghis Khan (Genghis Khan) and performed with them until their disbandment in 1985.

They reformed in 2005 and performed a concert in Moscow, followed by a concert for the 800thcentenary of Genghis Khan in Ulan Bator, Mongolia , in July 2006.
