Rosado, Eduardo “Sabu”

He is a percussionist who became a member of the Buzzy Bunch that backed the singer Celi Bee, in the 1970s.

He worked with Amuni Nacer on Giovanni Hidalgo’s Villa Hidalgo album.

He co-founded the record company Sasa Productions with Sal Nsser which has produced a new sound combining Reageton music with Arab music call Tres Mundos.  He was also the co-founder and musical director of Arabian Fantasy, a Middle Eastern dance review in Puerto Rico with Yashira Yamilet in1987 and appeared with her in the documentary The American Belly Dancer.

Sabu and Yashira were honoured in the Paoli Awards 2004 for having the best performance and Belly Dance School in Puerto Rico, the Arabian Fantasy Belly Dancers and Musical Show Presentation and Arabian Fantasy Dance Studio
