Schuchbaur, Wolfgang (1961-Present)

He is a violinist from Vienna, Austria, who attended the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversitat and Musikgymnasium Wien and graduated in 1988.  Groups with whom he has performed include the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, who he joined in 1986 and performs as second violin, as well as its Johann Strauss Ensemble.

On 8th November 2011, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and Eroica Trio interpreted Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Concerto for Violin, Cello and Piano in C major, Op. 56” (“Triple Concerto”) in Foellinger Great Hall at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.  The concert concluded with Johannes Brahms’ “Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 73”.

He has since performed in numerous concerts with the VSO.
