Seiler, Dieter (1969-Present)

He is a percussionist and timpanist who studied at the Graz and Vienna music universities.

He became a percussionist and timpanist with the Bruckner Orchestra Linz in 1993 and followed that by becoming a member of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra in 2006.

Performing with various orchestras and ensembles he has been heard with the Chamber Orchestra of Eueope, Concentus Musicus Wien, Ensemble Il Guardino Armonico and Freiburg Baroque Orchestra among others.

Recordings he has been heard on include Johann Sebastian Bach: Four Orchestral Suites by Ars Antiqua Austria, Rhythms of Life by Bogdan Bacanu andJoseph Haydn: Symphonies 31,59 & 73, “Horn Signal”, Fire and La Chasse  and Haydn – Missa in Tempore Belli, Salve Regina by Concentus Musicus Wien.
