He is a drummer and singer born in Leicester, England who joined the group Marmalade in 1982 when he was taken on as a replacement for the drummer and guitarist Charlie Smith. Smith returned in 1989 and stayed with the band until 1998 when Glen took the position over as the drummer permanently.
He left the band in 2010 to become the drummer with The Fortunes, who he has continued with ever since.
Recordings he has appeared on include the album Heartbreaker and album of the same name by The Marmalade.
