Thevenon, Myriam

She is a violinist and professor who was a gold medallist in violin and chamber music and took part in several music festivals in France and Germany as well as further studies with Gerard Jarry at the Paris Conservatoire.

In 1980 she performed as a soloist with the Orchestre de Paul Kuentz, in 1981 joined the Jean-Francois Paillard Chamber Orchestra and in more recent years has played with Symphonia Medica.

Throughout these years she has made many international tours and recordings and worked with artists such as Jean-Pierre Rampal and Narcisso Yepes along with many others.

In the world of education she has taught at the Ecole Nationale de Music de Belfort and The Erik Satie Musical Centre of St. Martin’s day d’ Heres and has held masterclasses at the Academie Internationale de Musique.
