Thomas, David

Violinist who has performed as a member of the  Philharmonia Orchestra and appeared on their recordings of The Big Country and Lawrence of Arabia soundtracks.  He is also credited with violin on Les Miserables:  The Complete Symphonic Recording.

Other works he has performed with the Philharmonia include:  “Concerto after Monn’s Concerto in D major for Harpsichord”, “Concerto, Op. 42”, “4 Lieder”, “Die Gluckliche Hand, Op. 18”, “Kammersymphonie No. 2, Op. 38” and “Variations, Op. 31” by Arnold Schoenberg; and, “Chorale Prelude:  Komm, Gott, Schopfer, heiliger Geist, BWV 631”, “Chorale Prelude:  Schmucke dich, o liebe Seele, BWV 654” and “Prelude and Fugue in E flat major, BWV 552” (“St. Anne”) by Johann Sebastian Bach.
