He was a studio musician and jingle recorder mainly, prior to substituting on vocals for Adrian Baker and subsequently replacing Philip Bardowell when he retired.
He has toured extensively with the Broadway shows Rent, Miss Saigon, Tommy and Les Miserables.
In 2001 he became part of The Beach Boys as a guitarist.
