Turon, Renate

Violinist who has been a member of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra since 2005.

In 1991, she and pianist Katharina Reigersberg interpreted Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Sonata in C major, K. 296” at the Jugend musiziert-Tonstudio.

She teamed up with keyboardist Ketevan Sepashvili at Salon am Hof for a performance of “Sonata for Violin and Piano in E flat, Op. 12, No. 3” by Ludwig van Beethoven on 12th May 2008.

In August 2008, they reprised this work at Schloss Weidenkam in a recital that also included Ottorino Respighi’s “Sonata in B minor” and Franz Schubert’s “Fantasy in C major, D. 934” and “Sonata in G minor, D. 408”.

The Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Eroica Trio offered up Beethoven’s “Concerto for Violin, Cello and Piano in C major, Op. 56” (“Triple Concerto”) in Foellinger Great Hall at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts on 8th November 2011.  The concert concluded with Johannes Brahms’ “Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 73”.
