She is an alto from Milwaukee who was a member of the Harvard University Choir and sang on their holiday recording Christmas in the Busch.
While a student she appeared in varios Harvard Theater productions that include Princess Di: A Fairy Tale in 1997, Giasone in 1999 and The Magic Flute in 2000.
