Heather, Susan

Songwriter who penned the original version of “Pfft!  You Were Gone”, which later became a running gag on the country music variety program, Hee Haw.

Other songs she wrote or co-wrote include:  “Burnt Toast and Black Coffee” by Mike Pedicin; “Cry Guitar” by Janis Martin; “Crying Steel Guitar Waltz” from the 1959 album, This is Jean Shepard; “Rock Lomond” by Bill Haley & His Comets; “Rock Me My Baby” which was recorded by The Accelerators, Buddy Holly & The Crickets and Bobby Vee; “Take Me Now” with Johnny Condello; and, “Walkin’ into Love” with John Michael.
