Medress, Hank (19th November 1938-18th June 2007)

Record producer and songwriter born in Brooklyn, New York, who started his career as a member of the band the Linc-Tones, who were to become The Tokens, along with Neil Sedaka and Jay Siegel.

As a songwriter and producer he helped launch the career of The Chiffons and started his own label B.T. Puppy on which he included The Tokens and The Happenings as acts.

He co-produced many of the hits of Tony Orlando and Dawn with Dave Appell as well albums by artists including Melissa Manchester and The Four Seasons.

He passed away when he was 68 years old suffering from lung cancer.
