Morgan, Dennis (30th July 1952 – Present)

Grammy-winning, six-time BMI Songwriter of the Year from Tracy, Minnesota, Dennis Morgan has written some of the biggest country and pop songs of the last twenty-five years.

His credits include “I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)” which won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance by Duo or Group (Aretha Franklin & George Michael) in 1988, Barbara Mandrell’s breakout #1 smash “Sleeping Single in a Double Bed” (with Mandrelland Kye Fleming) and Climie Fisher’s “Love Changes (Everything)”.

In November of 2004, he was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) Songwriters Hall of Fame.
